Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the shipping services provided by ShaeKreaJA Shipping, a company registered in Jamaica, hereinafter referred to as "Company," "we," "our," or "us." By using our services, you ("Customer") agree to comply with these Terms.

We offer domestic and international shipping services, including but not limited to:

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must ensure the following:

Prohibited and Restricted Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being shipped:

Failure to comply may result in confiscation, penalties, or legal action.

Rates and Payment

Shipping rates are based on weight, dimensions, destination, and service type.

All payments must be made before dispatch unless otherwise agreed upon.

Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, and online transfers.

Additional fees may apply for storage, customs processing, and special handling.

  

Customs Clearance

We facilitate customs clearance, but Customers are responsible for compliance with Jamaican Customs Agency regulations.

Duties, taxes, and other government-imposed charges must be paid by the Customer.

It is the Importer’s responsibility to familiarize his or herself with the most recent Customs Regulations as it relates to the policies, procedures, import requirements, duties and taxes that may be applicable to importing packages into Jamaica.

Any delay due to customs inspections is beyond our control.

Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times are for guidance purposes only and not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to customs processing, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify Customers of any significant delays.

Package Handling and Liability

The Company exercises reasonable care in handling shipments; however, we are not liable for:

Customers are encouraged to purchase insurance for valuable items.

Claims and Complaints

Any claim for loss, damage, or missing items must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

Claims must be supported by receipts, photos, and relevant documentation.

The Company will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Storage Fees

Packages not collected within FIVE (5) days after customer has been notified will attract a storage fee of $300 JMD per day. 

Packages will be discarded after THIRTY (30) days.

 

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations made before shipment dispatch may be eligible for a full refund.

Once an item has been shipped, no refunds will be issued.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing with valid reasons.
